BIAN Program in Kampung Bali Reaches 100 Percent Target

Hundreds of children under five in Kampung Bali Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta have received the MR (Measles Rubella) immunization.

The BIAN target in Kampung Bali is achieved 100 percent

Kampung Bali Urban Village Head Ety Kusmiati said as many as 355 children under five aged five to 59 months had been immunized during the National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) which took place from August 1 to 31, 2022.

"The BIAN target in Kampung Bali is achieved 100 percent of the total target of 354, achieved 355 toddlers," she expressed, Monday (9/5).

According to him, the success of achieving the target was due to the cooperation of all parties in holding immunization services at the posyandu (integrated health service post) and announcements through mosque loudspeakers in residential areas.

"We also provide door-to-door services to the homes of residents who have toddlers by bringing milk and ice cream," he explained.

He added that the door-to-door service was very effective in achieving the target of 100 percent of the BIAN program in Kampung Bali.

"To optimize it, we have involved RT/RW chairmen, LMK, posyandu cadres, and PKK," he closed.
